Windflower

False Rue Anemone is similar in appearance to Anemone quinequefolia (Wood Anemone) and Rue Anemone (Anemonella thalictroides) which has pink blooms. All are delicate woodland plants in jeopardy of being taken over by the highly invasive Garlic Mustard, found in the same spring woodland habitats. False Rue Anemone dies back in mid-summer making it a true spring ephemeral.. Also called Enemion biternatum.
